Usage
Use the Document menu for actions; Save stays visible. Info stores rationale and feature notes separately for each tab.
Preview hides workspace chrome and preserves editor zoom and selection when you exit.
Choose Edit linked role or Formats to edit one of 21 roles. Specimen typography edits create independent overrides.
Use Web / Presentation for independent contexts; Size is px, Line height is a ratio and Letter spacing is em.
Save is explicit. Reopen checks unsaved edits; Import validates JSON. Export includes both scales in JSON and the selected context in CSS.
Library examples use in-memory storage; the workspace preserves v1 records and saves its own v2 study. Font browsing needs Use font to apply; shared brand assignments stay explicit in v1.

This slice preserves v1 documents and implements role/specimen editing, explicit local save, reopening and CSS/JSON export. Recipes, rearrangement, specimen kind selection, complete scale operations and published brand-role assignment remain in v1.
The required headline/body/caption specimens cannot be deleted. Added copies can be removed and undone; Type templates remain unavailable.
Unsupported requested weights are retained in JSON; the inspector reports the available weight used by the preview and CSS. Font failures offer Retry font.
