Usage
Edit independent presets, asymmetric spacing and rhythm; keep two named guide snapshots without replacing the legacy catalog.
Switch to the separate Layout workspace to edit compositions. Both workspaces share one Grid/Layout document; Snap remains an explicit frozen snapshot.
Save/Reopen in the example's independent memory repository and compare workspace/legacy JSON, preview SVG and responsive CSS.

Local implementation is separate from browser/release certification. V1 routes remain until applicable tool/data parity and retirement review pass.
Headers, footers and binding copy are workspace fields. Legacy Layout export retains its original contract; Workspace JSON keeps the complete new envelope.
Guide visibility is a view aid. Snap applies a frozen box/line-spacing projection, not measured glyph baselines or shared published grid tokens.
Cloud memberships, external-page adapters, media persistence, multi-section content, arbitrary source providers and package redistribution remain open.
