All 18 families have destinations. These are historical source patterns, not 387 verified features.
Preparing the canvas and shared controls.
The library establishes an interface direction. A complete replacement for v1 needs three checks: source mapping, studio coverage and working tool behavior.
All 18 families have destinations. These are historical source patterns, not 387 verified features.
The complete Studio now supplies the screen and workflow previews. Tool integration still has separate acceptance gates.
10 screen studies have distinct capability boundaries. Motion supplies the first transition recipe concept; eight existing tool engines retain their migration gates.
These are migration capability groups, not an exhaustive control-by-control acceptance test. Expand each group into verified scenarios during its tool’s integration.
Available in v2: Real Type role/specimen adapter; explicit Save / Reopen / Import / CSS and JSON export. Library previews use independent in-memory storage.
Edit a saved role, switch context, reload it and verify CSS output. Invalid data and failed fonts preserve the last valid document; preview edits never publish a brand role implicitly. Evidence and remaining v1 workflows: docs/TYPE-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md and web/tests/type-session.test.ts.

Available in v2: Real palette, pairing and specimen adapter with independent example storage, explicit Save/Reopen, Undo/Redo and CSS/JSON export.
Create or duplicate a custom palette, edit all semantic roles, save/reopen it and compare exact CSS. Shortlist and reuse a text/background pair. Picker cancellation, invalid import, unreadable data and conflicts retain the valid draft. Paper source values and canonical order remain unchanged. Evidence: docs/COLOR-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md and Color session/history/repository tests.
shared/lib/color-model.tstests/color-model.test.ts
Available in v2: Dedicated Grid & Guides workspace: exact preset geometry, blank/sample/current-layout comparison, two named guide snapshots and explicit Save/Reopen/JSON/SVG/CSS. Layout has its own workspace; the shared document and Snap contract remain intact.
Round-trip independent presets, asymmetric geometry and frozen Apply/Snap. Compare rendered guides and preview SVG in the same logical coordinates; zoom and guide visibility do not mutate stored values. Preserve all 20 legacy guide records byte-for-byte while explicitly copying at most 2 into the v2 document. Evidence and remaining gates: docs/GRID-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md and Grid/Layout session/geometry/repository/history tests.
conceptualize/lib/grid-model.tstests/grid.test.ts
Available in v2: Dedicated Layout workspace with the real shared Grid/Layout adapter, all 15 source templates, slot content, spacing/dividers, metadata and explicit guide snapshots. Grid & Guides has separate navigation without duplicating storage.
Render and export all 15 immutable source templates from validated LayoutDocument, preserving exact 1920×1080 source geometry and independent authored content. Test element kinds, drop/assignment/reordering, shared fonts, growing/fixed bounds and saved metadata. Apply/Snap is explicit and frozen; guide appearance never resnaps. See docs/GRID-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md for scoped evidence and outstanding browser/release gates.

Available in v2: Saved artwork and Bento board collections; blank-first creation, optional templates, reusable assets, freeform layers and typed board cells with document-size output.
Create an empty artwork canvas without sample content, insert and edit real saved assets, save/reopen it and compare preview geometry with PNG dimensions. Create a separate empty Bento board, populate only available sources explicitly, move/edit cells and retain artwork as independent snapshots. Verify collections contain authored records only, social previews do not alter documents, and v1 records remain byte-for-byte preserved. Invalid imports, malformed storage, unavailable fonts and stale saves must preserve drafts. Evidence: docs/MARKETING-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md; earlier template-only browser evidence does not establish corrected editor parity. Fixed box swaps must retain cell identities and contents, including empty cells. Custom geometry must round-trip and render identically, reject overlaps and provide grouped pointer undo plus pixel/keyboard alternatives.

Available in v2: Real Content library and style-reference adapter, existing rich writer/article reader, independent memory examples and explicit v2 Save/Reopen/import/export.
Create and place writing explicitly, edit it without changing its collection, archive/restore it and Save/Reopen exact v2 JSON. Preserve article Read behavior, saved revisions and approved-only export rules. Invalid data, stale storage and denied writes retain originals and the valid draft; examples stay independent. Verify literal code/whitespace and Markdown fences. Browser/build evidence and remaining acceptance gates: docs/CONTENT-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md. No production rollout or broad parity is inferred.
conceptualize/lib/content/content-v2.tstests/content-v2.test.ts
Available in v2: Real Print workspace: standard/custom physical formats, Studio/Colorplan/CP Extract swatches, explicit envelopes, animated front/back scenes and dimensioned export.
Create standard and custom print documents, edit both surfaces, preview explicit envelope choices and Save/Reopen exact values. Derive scene/SVG/PNG dimensions from millimetres; never infer units from preview pixels. Preserve legacy v1 bytes, catalog reference/HEX consistency and valid drafts after malformed imports, stale storage or denied writes. Verify flip and reduced-motion CSS, selected-font export and independent library storage. Evidence: docs/PRINT-V2-IMPLEMENTATION.md. Packaging and printer production approval remain separate.
conceptualize/lib/print-v2.tstests/print-v2.test.ts
Available in v2: Native physical Packaging workspace with fourteen forms, explicit source copies, saved project groups, surface artwork, calibrated folding and real scene/file exports.
Round-trip PackagingDoc, project metadata and membership; preserve v1 storage bytes and bounded unknown fields without silent loss. Verify fourteen forms, source variants, inside/outside artwork, proportional versus calibrated units, assembly fit feedback, mapping keyboard/numeric alternatives, grouped Undo and scene membership. Raster captures must wait for matching geometry and visual inputs; stale imports, denied writes and late async results preserve valid drafts. SVG panel artwork omits glue tabs, bleed and production tolerances; supplier cut files, insert fit and manufacturing approval require separate evidence. Existing physical and render fixtures remain authoritative; browser/release acceptance is recorded separately.
conceptualize/lib/packaging-v2.tstests/packaging-v2.test.ts
Available in v2: Focused V2 transition recipes with curated presets, exact timing/easing and from/to controls, live replay and agent brief/CSS/JSON handoff. Local Save/Reopen is explicit; library examples are independent.
Tune and replay a bounded component transition, save/reopen the same recipe and verify CSS/JSON/agent handoff uses exact model values. Invalid imports, stale storage or denied writes preserve the valid draft. Verify keyboard controls, reduced motion and independent library storage. Full-page animation, timelines and automation are outside the first concept.

Print and Packaging share the Production category, with separate models and acceptance gates. Layout and Grid & Guides have distinct workspaces over their shared document. Marketing remains Compose; Motion has its own transition recipe model.
Keep v1 available during migration. Fix interface defects as they appear; add new product functionality after the corresponding tool has reached parity.
Close the inspector, drawer, toolbar and settings review gaps. Record every control’s applicable states, keyboard behavior and responsive behavior beside its example.
Each runtime assembly has an actual specimen or a complete Studio review, with no unexplained active-looking placeholder actions.
Wrap the existing TypeDocument engine. Keep brand configuration, document commands, storage and UI state separate. Prove the same controls with a second brand fixture.
Edit → save → reopen → export passes against existing fixtures, including invalid input, font failure and schema migration. No implicit brand publishing.
Color → Grid & Guides → Layout → Compose (Marketing) → Content → Print → Packaging. Motion develops as a focused new tool. Share controls while preserving separate document models.
Each tool passes its own capability checklist and output tests before replacing its v1 route. Keep new feature requests in a separate backlog.
Move proven controls and sessions behind explicit public APIs. Keep routing, CMS, account access and persistence providers in the host.
A second host builds and works without portal imports. Test the packed artifact, theme changes, exports, migrations and asset / font redistribution rights before a paid release.
Controls → tool session → engine. Controls receive values and callbacks. Each typed session connects selection and commands to one document model. The host supplies brand configuration, routing, fonts, assets and storage.
The current studio still imports portal components, font registries and app routes. It is a prototype, not yet a self-contained package. Extraction follows the Type pilot so its API is based on a working consumer.
npm run library:check verifies source-ledger freshness, family destinations, registered studio exports, preview relationships and source / test paths. It cannot certify behavior, visual quality, persistence or export parity.
The historical audit is dated 5 October 2026. Its source records remain traceable to that commit. Refresh the v1 audit and review subsequent source changes before signing off each migrated tool.
